Our client is a leading multi-disciplinary construction contractor based in Essex and operating across London, the Southeast and Home Counties. A Commercial Manager role has arisen within the business which would suit somebody from a maintenance and/or refurbishment background, more specifically commercial and residential externals.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all commercial aspects of projects.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts and budgets.
- Monitor costs, variations, and claims.
- Ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success.
Must Have:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Experience in commercial and residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Membership in RICS or CIOB is an advantage.
