Speculative Applications for Data Centre Designers & Engineers (UK & Europe)
RHL is building a talent pool of data centre design and engineering professionals in response to an increasing pipeline of upcoming work across the UK and Europe. If you’re a designer or engineer with data centre experience and you’re open to new opportunities (permanent or contract), we’d like to hear from you.
Roles we regularly recruit for (speculative)
- Electrical Design Engineers (LV/MV, critical power, UPS/generators, protection/earthing)
- Mechanical Design Engineers (cooling, ventilation, containment, chilled water / DX)
- MEP / BIM Coordinators and Revit Technicians
- CSA Engineers (civil, structural, architectural)
- Commissioning Engineers / Managers
- Project Engineers, Package Managers, Construction/Site Engineers
What we’re looking for
- Experience delivering data centre projects (hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, mission-critical)
- Understanding of resilience and redundancy philosophies, critical power and cooling systems, and lifecycle considerations
- Familiarity with UK and/or European standards and regulations
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills across multi-disciplinary teams
- Tools exposure such as AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Navisworks and discipline-relevant design packages (varies by role)
- Willingness to travel within the UK/Europe (where required)
