Our global offshore energy projects client is looking for an experienced Senior Cathodic Protection & Corrosion Consultant to join their Design & Analysis group within the Materials, Welding & Coating (MWC) discipline.
You will work on major EPCI projects, FEEDs and tenders, with exposure to flexibles, rigid flowlines, PIP systems, subsea structures, and offshore/onshore fabrication and installation activities.
What you’ll be doing

Providing specialist Cathodic Protection (CP) technical support to projects and internal disciplines.

Preparing CP design reports and performing CP calculations for subsea flowlines, risers and structures in line with international standards.

Preparing anode specifications and Material Take Offs (MTOs) for tenders and live projects.

Reviewing, clarifying and technically evaluating anode supplier offers, procedures and documentation.

Acting as the single point of contact for project teams on all CP‑related matters.

Performing corrosion assessments and CO₂ corrosion rate modelling for pipelines.

Participating in meetings with clients, vendors and suppliers, resolving technical issues as required.

Supporting fabrication, installation, Quality and Supply Chain Management (SCM) teams and ensuring effective communication across all interfaces.
What we’re looking for

Extensive experience in CP system design and calculations, ideally in the subsea oil & gas sector.

Strong understanding of corrosion mechanisms for subsea systems.

Experience supporting anode procurement and reviewing supplier documentation.

Degree in Materials Science or a related engineering discipline.

Strong analytical skills, risk‑focused mindset and sound decision‑making.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple interfaces in a multicultural environment.

ISO/NACE CP certification(s) preferred.
